Biasanya, ini melibatkan kombinasi sesuatu yang dimiliki oleh pengguna (seperti kata sandi) dan sesuatu yang hanya diketahui oleh pengguna (seperti kode yang dikirim melalui SMS atau token yang dihasilkan secara dinamis).
